The Skunk2 Racing Alpha Series Race Header is engineered to significantly boost horsepower and torque across the entire powerband for the 2016+ Mazda Miata ND. This header builds upon the proven design of Skunk2's Race Headers, offering similar performance characteristics at a more accessible price point for enthusiasts. Its 4-1 stepped, equal-length primary tubes are carefully tuned to maximize exhaust flow, merging into a true collector with a 2.5-inch outlet for optimal performance. Constructed from stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing, this header ensures enhanced strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. The design prioritizes maintaining the highest exhaust gas velocity to improve throttle response and mid-range power. It also includes multiple O2 bungs to accommodate OEM sensors and eliminates the front catalyst, contributing to a more efficient exhaust system. This header is the result of extensive research and development, combining over a decade of racing experience with advanced computer modeling and rigorous dyno testing.
