Powered (12v or 110v) awnings open and close with a push of a button and can come with optional Direct Response Electronics that sense canopy motion and automatically retract the awning when motion exceeds a predetermined threshold. Some also come with an optional remote control. Manual awnings offer crank or pull-out options. Awnings are available in widths ranging from 8' to 25' and extension heights commonly 8', with some going up to 10'. Select awnings offer dual pitch or easy-to-use adjustable pitch. Hardware colors include black, white, or satin, with select awnings available in black or white only. Carefree offers over 100 different fabric colors and patterns (Dune Stripes, Shale Fades, Denim Stripes), and various fabric materials including Vinyl, Polyweave Vinyl, Premium Vinyl, and Acrylic. To protect the fabric, they offer three Weatherguards: Uniguard, Alumaguard, and FLXguard.
