Overview

The Powermaster 17767 is a high-output Ford 3G alternator, rated at 140 amps, featuring an 8-groove serpentine pulley and a chrome finish. It is designed as an upgrade for various Ford vehicles that originally came with either a 2G or 3G alternator. For vehicles upgrading from a 2G alternator, minor bracket clearancing may be required. For all installations, especially when upgrading to a higher amperage unit like this 140A model, it is highly recommended to install a larger gauge charge cable and a megafuse for safety and optimal performance.
