The Powermaster 57764 is a 3G Style Large Frame V Mount Alternator with a 6-Groove Pulley, rated at 200 Amps, and finished in black. This is a brand new, not re-manufactured, unit that is fully tested before assembly. It comes complete with an internal voltage regulator and a 6-groove serpentine pulley. This alternator is designed to increase the charging capacity of the vehicle, producing 100 amps at idle (2000 alternator shaft RPM) and 200 amps at maximum (6000 alternator shaft RPM). Due to its higher output, an upgrade to the main power wire is required. The alternator features a baked-on black powder-coated finish for an aggressive under-hood appearance.
