Description

This ALTA Cold Air Intake System (AMP-INT-401BK) reduces inlet air temperatures to increase horsepower and torque in Mini Cooper turbo engine models. It features a five-ply silicone elbow for accurate MAF sensor readings, preventing check engine lights, and produces a deep, throaty tone. The intake box is made from lightweight aluminum with a black wrinkle powdercoat finish and includes a high-flow multi-layer foam filter. It is designed to remove the OEM hood scoop screen for consistent ambient air delivery and has dyno-proven horsepower gains.
