The AutoTech Engineering HP-13878-320 is an alternator meticulously assembled in Riverside, California. AutoTech Engineering includes necessary modifications such as spacers or plug harnesses at no additional cost. The voltage is factory-set to OEM minimum specifications by default, but customers can request higher voltage by contacting them before ordering. Installation notes specify that brackets are supplied by AutoTech Engineering for a proper fit, allowing the retention of the factory belt. Crucially, for full regulator activation, the idle RPM must be maintained between 650-700 RPM in the drive position, as true factory idle is typically between 550-600 RPM. This alternator is compatible with several model years of the Pontiac Vibe (2003-2008), Toyota Corolla (2006), and Toyota MR2 Spyder (2005), all equipped with the L4 1.8L 1794CC engine.
