The Sikky Stage 2 BMW E30 LS Swap Package is engineered to simplify the process of integrating an LS-based engine into your BMW E30. This all-inclusive kit provides the core components required for a successful engine swap, featuring Sikky's renowned motor mounts, transmission mount, a specialized oil pan, driveshaft, power steering lines, and high-performance headers.
Constructed with precision, the motor mounts are CAD/CAM designed and CNC machined from solid 6061 T-6 aluminum, incorporating custom urethane bushings that offer true isolation and ensure correct engine placement and axle alignment, all backed by a lifetime warranty. The accompanying transmission mount, also featuring a urethane bushing, is designed to accommodate T56, T56 Magnum, CD009, and TR6060 transmissions and comes with a lifetime warranty.
The headers are crafted from 100% stainless steel, boasting massive 1 7/8” primaries and high-flow collectors with merge bullets. They feature CNC machined head flanges and are TIG welded and back-purged for exceptional strength and reliability. The package includes a remote oil filter kit with -10 AN fittings and stainless braided lines, as well as a high-capacity 6.8-quart aluminum race oil pan designed to fit around the E30's front subframe while maintaining high ground clearance.
This kit is compatible with a wide range of LS-based engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, L99, LQ4, LQ9, LSA, LS7, LS9, and LSX, provided they use the specified engine mount and oil pan bolt pattern. Installation requires no modification to the factory cross member or subframe. However, it does necessitate the use of an E36 steering rack, eye ball arms for header clearance, and a low-profile steering shaft. A brake booster delete kit is also required for manual brake setups to ensure clearance for the driver's side header. The kit is designed to work with an LS1-style T56 transmission, allowing the shifter to pass through the factory opening for a clean installation. Note that the factory master cylinder will need to be removed or replaced to allow adequate engine clearance.
