The Balmar XT-Series Dual Foot 12V 170A Alternator Kit is designed for recreational marine applications, offering significant charging power within a compact framework. It features a braided wire stator and dual-fan cooling for enhanced efficiency. It is "Smart Ready®" with internal regulator technology and adheres to marine certifications. It includes an MC-618-H multi-stage regulator pre-programmed for LiFePO4 Lithium Ion batteries. A serpentine belt or dual V-belts are required. It features a dual foot 3.15" saddle mount, designed for Hitachi-style mounting common on Yanmar, Westerbeke, Lehman, and Perkins-Sabre engines.
