The General Tire AltiMAX RT43 is an all-season touring tire engineered to provide drivers of coupes, sedans, minivans, and crossovers with a balanced combination of traction, handling, comfort, and longevity. This tire incorporates several advanced technologies to enhance its performance. The Replacement Tire Monitor Technology features a visible stamp that changes from "Replacement Tire Monitor" to "Replace Tire" as the tread wears down, indicating when replacement is needed. Visual Alignment Indicators (VAI) help extend tire life by visually alerting the driver to vehicle misalignment. For improved grip on various road surfaces, the Peak Anti-Slip Sipe Design Technology increases the number of biting edges. The tire's construction utilizes Low Surface Abrasion Technology (LSAT) to reduce tread distortion, promoting even wear and extended tread life.
