Aluminized Off-Road Y-Pipe 3-Inch

The PaceSetter Performance 82-1163 is an off-road Y-pipe constructed from 16-gauge aluminized steel with mandrel-bent tubing. It is designed to connect PaceSetter's long tube headers (part numbers 70-2253, 72C2253, 70-2255, 72C2255, 70-2256, and 72C2256) to the stock exhaust system. The 3-inch diameter tubing is designed to mate with slip-fit header collectors, and it can also connect to stock or stock replacement exhaust systems. This Y-pipe features a design that helps exhaust pulses scavenge each cylinder, potentially improving performance. It is made in the USA. Installation may require cutting the stock intermediate pipe ahead of the muffler and clamping or welding the Y-pipe. Clamps are included. This product is specifically designed for 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird models with the 5.7L LS1 engine. It is intended for off-road use only and is not legal for sale or use in California or New York on CA emissions vehicles. It may not work with long tube headers from manufacturers other than PaceSetter.
