The key benefit of this inlet is its larger 54.5mm turbo flange diameter, which is a perfect match for upgraded aftermarket turbochargers like the Boost Lab BL54XR. This contrasts with the stock inlet's 49.5mm diameter. By upgrading, you eliminate persistent boost leaks common with the OEM Subaru inlet, ensuring more consistent and metered airflow to the engine.
