The kit's calipers are one-piece units, CNC machined from aircraft-grade billet aluminum for exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers feature aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat resistance compared to other materials, ensuring uncompromised operation even under demanding use. Ksport's opposed piston caliper design dramatically improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems. For customization, rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled designs, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers and slotted for track-focused vehicles. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets ensure a direct bolt-on fit to your OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. It's important to note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. Additionally, some applications may not retain the OEM handbrake function.
