The ZARGAS 40859 is a heavy-duty aluminum universal box from the K470 Series, constructed with 5005 alloy aluminum sheeting and a fully-welded profile frame. It offers superior strength and lighter weight compared to plastic or roadie cases, with 2-7 times greater tensile strength while being 50% lighter than plastic and 70% lighter than roadie cases. This universal case is designed to withstand extreme temperatures from -228° to 302° F and provides excellent resistance to UV, water, weather, and corrosion. It also boasts 15%-20% greater interior volume than plastic cases within a smaller footprint and features ergonomic spring-loaded handles for ease of use. The standard IP protection is IP54, with an upgrade option to IP65.
