The DDMWorks LNF Charge Tubes are a direct replacement for the stock intercooler charge pipes on the Pontiac Solstice GXP, Saturn Sky Redline, and Opel GT with the 2.0L engine. Factory charge tubes often have flattened sections that create air turbulence, hindering flow. DDMWorks addresses this by using 2.5-inch full-length tubes, CNC mandrel-bent from a single piece of lightweight aluminum, ensuring optimal fitment and superior air flow compared to crushed stock tubing. The passenger-side tube uniquely extends from the intercooler all the way to the turbo, bypassing the stock, often weak, rubber connection. This design integrates a robust silicone adapter for a more secure connection, capable of handling higher pressures. All tubes include the factory-style side mounting brackets to maintain correct positioning and prevent movement or rattling under the hood. Installation is straightforward, with the kit including necessary hardware and new silicone connectors perfectly sized for the turbo and intercooler connections, eliminating the need to reuse old components. The charge tubes are available in a wide array of powder coat colors for enhanced aesthetics and long-term durability.
