Aluminum Door Cards

The Skillard aluminum door cards are a custom-fit replacement for the factory door panels on the 1984-1989 Nissan 300ZX Z31. Crafted from .040" aluminum, these door cards offer a weight savings of nearly 13 pounds per pair compared to the factory panels, which weigh around 20 pounds. The design includes a removable emboss plate for a refined finish around the door handle and an easier grip, and they are formed to wrap over the top of the door to accept the provided fuzzy trim that contacts the glass. Sold as a pair, these door cards include all necessary installation hardware, including steel M5 rivet nuts, for a secure fit. A rivnut tool is recommended for installation. Optional features include speaker cutouts compatible with 6.5" speakers and the option for new power window switches and harnesses that mount directly into the door panel, replacing the often-broken factory armrest switches. The installation involves drilling two new holes and rerouting power window wires, details of which are provided in an installation video. Optional Z31 Aluminum "Z" Door Pull Handles are also available. These door cards will NOT fit the 2+2 models, RHD (Right-Hand Drive) vehicles, or manual window configurations found in some Canadian models. The provided rivnuts are M5 size.
