Aluminum Drag Racing Staging Brake Kit

This pull-up type handbrake is constructed from robust materials, including a machined 6061 aluminum handle with a durable dark gray anodized finish and a knurled urethane pistol grip for a secure, non-slip hold. The rigid design ensures the handle returns straight and firm, contributing to precise control. For drag racing, this handbrake serves as an effective staging brake, allowing for quick and easy locking of the rear brakes to apply preload to the drivetrain. Upon release, the rear brakes are immediately disengaged. An optional relocation system is available, featuring a 4130 aerospace-grade chromoly rod and CNC steel brackets with a durable zinc coating. This system allows users to move the master cylinder backward and away from the shifter area, which is particularly useful for vehicles with limited space for a standard setup. This relocation ensures the handbrake can be installed even when space is at a premium. The kit features a black powder-coated finish on all mounting brackets and is available with Wilwood master cylinder options. The base unit weighs 4 lbs, and the version with the relocation rod weighs 6 lbs. Installation and use are intended for off-road or private property use, as it may not comply with Japanese vehicle inspection (shaken) regulations.
