Aluminum Driveshaft with CV Joint

The Driveshaft Shop rear CV driveshaft is engineered as a direct-fit replacement for 2015-2020 Dodge Charger RT, Scat Pack, and SRT 392 models with automatic transmissions. This aluminum driveshaft replaces the factory unit, utilizing a precision-ground CV joint that fits directly inside the pinion flange, thereby eliminating the need for adapter plates. This design not only sheds weight but also enhances power-holding capacity and improves drivetrain responsiveness. Constructed with a 4-inch diameter aluminum tube, billet aluminum endcaps, and 300M Chromoly spline plugs, this driveshaft is built for durability. It features a high-speed precision-ground CV joint with chromoly internals, offering twice the range of previous designs. The entire assembly is balanced on a 9500 rpm high-speed balancer, ensuring smooth operation even at extreme speeds. It includes all necessary high-grade hardware. Installation notes indicate that this driveshaft for 2015+ models does not require spacers. However, modifications to the exhaust system may be necessary to ensure adequate clearance of approximately 0.75 inches. It is important to note that this driveshaft WILL NOT FIT Hellcat models.
