Overview
It is compatible with Volvo VIDA and D5T5 VDASH software and works with cars from 1999-2015, including P80s (1999+), P2, P1s, and P3s through 2018. The tool offers full compatibility with older VIDA versions (up to 2015A) and newer online subscription-based VIDA. However, it will not perform basic OBD2 functionality on non-network 1996-1998 distributor ignition P80s. For P5 (SPA, 2016+) and P6 (CMA, 2019+) platforms, a VOE or equivalent adapter is recommended for software loading using VIDA, though this J2534 adapter can still provide some diagnostic data.
