Aluminum Heel Plates Pair

The Skillard heel plates are designed to upgrade the footwell of your Nissan 300ZX Z31. Crafted from aluminum, these heel plates are CNC cut and formed, featuring embossed holes for enhanced structural integrity. They are equipped with threaded inserts on the underside to attach included rubber bumpers, providing critical support where it's most needed. These heel plates are sold as a pair and are offered in either a raw aluminum finish or a durable black powder coat. The primary purpose of these heel plates is to improve driver comfort by raising the foot position and to offer an additional layer of protection against heat transfer from the footwell. For enhanced security and ease of removal, an optional quick latch add-on is available. This feature allows the heel plates to be quickly secured or detached with the push of a button; however, the quick latch installation does necessitate drilling a single hole per latch. The heel plates can be installed with or without the factory carpet. If installing without carpet, the quick latch option is recommended, and the use of foam tape or another insulator is advised to prevent metal-to-metal vibration.
