Aluminum Lightweight Flywheel

The JB Racing Aluminum Lightweight Flywheel is engineered to enhance the performance of your E34 535i by drastically reducing rotational mass. This single-mass flywheel, crafted from billet aluminum, weighs a mere 11 lbs, a significant reduction from the stock 30 lb flywheel. This massive reduction in weight and Moment of Inertia (MOI) allows the M30 "big six" engine to rev more quickly, leading to faster shifting, easier rev-matching, and more power reaching the wheels. The clutch surface features a replaceable hardened steel design that is bolted on, not riveted, for durability. Heli-coil inserts are used for the pressure plate hardware to prevent stripping during clutch replacement. A hardened steel gaul plate protects the flywheel bolts from damage. This flywheel is CNC machined and zero-balanced to eliminate vibration, ensuring a smooth driving experience. It is manufactured and assembled entirely at JB Racing's facility. For optimal performance and reduced noise, JB Racing recommends using a sprung-hub clutch disc with this lightweight flywheel. All necessary hardware, including flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts, and captive design 10mm dowel pins, are included, along with metric pressure plate hardware. This product is made in the USA.
