The Rein Upgraded HEU0115 is an aluminum engine oil filter housing and heat exchanger, designed as a direct replacement for specific BMW applications. This upgraded unit is constructed entirely of aluminum, a significant advantage over OE plastic housings that are prone to cracking and leaks. This oil filter housing assembly comes complete with a cover cap, filter, and necessary gaskets, ensuring a straightforward installation. Its aluminum construction addresses common failure points found in the original equipment, offering a more durable and long-lasting solution. The integrated oil cooler further enhances its functionality. The Rein HEU0115 is compatible with a wide range of BMW models equipped with the B46 and B48 2.0L 4-cylinder engines. This includes, but is not limited to, the BMW 2-Series (F22, F23, F87) from 2014-2021, 3-Series (F30, F31, F34) from 2012-2019, 4-Series (F32, F33, F36) from 2014-2020, 5-Series (G30) from 2017-2023, and 7-Series (G12) from 2016-2022. It also fits select X3 (G01, F97) and X4 (G02, F98) models from 2018-2024. Specific fitment includes models such as the 230i, 330e, 330i, 430i, 530i, 740e, X3 xDrive30i, and X4 xDrive30i.
