Aluminum Oil Pan Skid Plate

The Primitive Racing Front Skid Plate is engineered to offer superior protection for the underside of your Subaru Impreza, specifically models from 2008-2011 that are non-turbo. Constructed from robust 1/8" or 3/16" thick 5052 aluminum with precision TIG welding, this skid plate replaces the stock plastic splash shield. The design also aims to improve aerodynamics and airflow without compromising the efficiency of the radiator or cooling system. A key feature is its up-turned rear lip, which prevents it from catching on obstacles when reversing. Primitive Racing also considers critical factors during design, including approach angles, reversing capabilities over obstacles, jack-up points, ease of maintenance, and maximum ground clearance. Optional accessories are available, such as oil change access holes to allow for oil changes without removing the skid plate, and a Fumoto valve for a mess-free oil drain process. The skid plate weighs approximately 9.8 pounds and is manufactured in the USA. It has been rally proven and is built tough enough for off-road use.
