The Cold Case GMT556A is a performance aluminum radiator engineered as a direct-fit replacement for 1977-1987 Chevrolet and GMC trucks. This radiator is built with a 100 percent TIG welded construction and all-aluminum design for durability and optimal heat dissipation. It features a core height of 18.8 inches and a width of 28.35 inches, with two 1.25-inch tubes and a 1.5-inch lower hose connection. The radiator also includes polished OE-style tanks and corrugated fins with 16 fins per inch, designed to provide more surface area and superior thermal transfer compared to conventional radiators. This unit is pressure tested from the factory and is specifically designed for automatic transmissions, including a 5/16" inverted flare fitting for the transmission cooler. This radiator is an excellent upgrade for maintaining optimal engine temperatures in your classic truck, offering improved cooling performance while maintaining an original appearance when painted.
