The Powerhouse Racing aluminum race radiator is engineered to manage the increased thermal demands of high-performance driving for 1998–2005 Lexus GS300 and GS400 (S160/S161) models. Its all-aluminum, 2-row core measures 2 1/8 inches thick, significantly increasing coolant volume and surface area compared to stock components to prevent overheating during both street and track use. For those performing an engine swap into an Aristo chassis, it is mandatory to relocate fans to the Lexus-specific shroud (LX 16711-46260). The unit is available with an optional internal transmission cooler for automatic vehicles, while manual transmission models do not require this feature. Users can choose between standard OEM hose connections or optional -20AN fittings for high-performance coolant line setups. Due to the increased thickness of this high-capacity core, users may need to modify intercooler piping for certain configurations, specifically those involving GTE swaps or Front Facing Intake Manifold (FFIM) conversions. The radiator is available in four finishes, including raw aluminum, gloss black, matte black, and polished, to suit various engine bay aesthetic preferences.
