Overview

The Steeda upper control arms are designed to eliminate unwanted side-to-side "sloshing" and rear-end "wiggle." Constructed from high-strength, heat-treated 6061 T-6 aluminum alloy, these arms resist flexing and are significantly lighter than other control arms. The exclusive 3-piece bushings help eliminate noise, vibration, and suspension bind, resulting in racing traction and control with street car smoothness.

Constructed from high-strength, heat-treated 6061 T-6 aluminum alloy, these arms resist flexing and are approximately 1/3 the weight of other control arms, and 25% lighter than factory units. They are TIG welded for maximum strength and feature an exclusive three-part, two-phase bushing system. The unique bushing design helps eliminate noise, vibration, and suspension bind, providing racing traction and control with the smoothness of a street car. The center bushing reduces deflection for maximum traction, while the special outer bushings reduce suspension bind for better stability over uneven pavement, improving handling and ride quality without damaging upper "torque boxes." These arms are also custom-length to improve pinion angle, offering more traction and better suspension geometry for lowered cars. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process. However, it is important to note that these control arms do not fit the 1999-2002 Cobra models. Additionally, 1997 1/2 - 1998 models require the 555-4100 adjustable upper control arm due to a unique length. Please call for more information regarding fitment for these specific years.
