Aluminum Upper Shock Mounts

It utilizes a proprietary digressive piston design, offering increased damping force at low-speed piston velocities while maintaining a linear feel at higher speeds. This translates to a more planted and controlled chassis, enhanced steering feedback, and improved responsiveness during aggressive driving maneuvers like cornering, pitching, and diving. Constructed with durability and performance in mind, the kit features upper shock/strut mounts made from 6061-T6 aluminum for strength and weight savings, with the included option being Camber Plates allowing for +/- 3 degrees of camber adjustment. The lower shock mounts are powder-coated for corrosion resistance. The springs, crafted from SAE9254 steel, are zinc-coated for longevity and are available in linear, S-barrel, or V-barrel styles, with the DS Series featuring 8k front and 10k rear rates. The mono-tube shock design uses a 53mm shock body for increased fluid capacity and performance, all finished in a satin chrome for a clean aesthetic. This coilover system offers independent height adjustment separate from spring compression and 30 clicks of simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment, allowing for precise tuning to match driving conditions and preferences. The DS Series is compatible with Swift Springs and custom valving options are available upon request. This specific kit is designed for E36 Non-M Coupe, Sedan, and Convertible models, including various trims such as 318i, 318ic, 318is, 323ic, 323is, 325i, 325ic, 325is, 328i, 328ic, and 328is from model years 1992-1999, depending on the specific submodel and engine.
