The Carbon Creations AM-S Style Hood is designed to elevate your Infiniti G Sedan (2007-2013 G25, G35, G37) or Q40 (2015) with aggressive styling and significant weight reduction. This single-piece hood is constructed from genuine, hand-laid carbon fiber, offering a durable and authentic weave pattern that stands out. Its AM-S front profile features distinct vented lines, providing a more aggressive look compared to the stock geometry. This hood offers genuine weight savings over the OEM steel hood, contributing to improved front-end weight distribution and handling balance. While the finish is a glossy gel-coat, light surface preparation and primer are recommended before painting, with clear coat advised for UV protection and to preserve the weave pattern. It is important to note that carbon fiber parts are not direct OEM replacements, and minor adjustments may be required depending on the specific vehicle. Professional installation is strongly recommended to ensure proper alignment, drilling, and hardware fitment. Additionally, hood pins are required for installation and securing the panel during operation; you will need to source or fabricate pins rated for your vehicle's hood weight.
