Description

The Blue Sea Systems 8254 is an analog DC ammeter designed for precise current measurement. This meter features a 2-inch face and can measure current from -50 to 50 Amps, indicating both discharge and charge currents. It requires an external shunt and includes backlighting for visibility.

The ammeter operates with a meter current of 1mA at full scale and has a backlighting amperage draw of 16mA at 12V DC or 20mA at 24V DC. The unit is designed for simple connection, utilizing a 2-wire connection from the shunt and separate connections for the backlight.
