The Rockford Fosgate RFKHD is an amplifier installation kit specifically engineered for select Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including models like the Street Glide, Road Glide, and Electra Glide from 1998 to the present. This kit provides the essential components to seamlessly integrate compact Punch and Power series amplifiers into your motorcycle's audio system. The RFKHD includes a robust mounting plate, a heat-sink for thermal management, and a complete wiring harness. The wiring is designed to meet or exceed CTA-2015 industry standards, utilizing 100% pure Crystal-Oxygen Free Copper (PC-OFC) for optimal conductivity. It features 8 AWG power and ground wires for both the battery and the amplifier, along with 16 AWG speaker wire and a 60 Amp MAXI fuse to ensure reliable power delivery and protection. Speaker adapter plugs are included to ensure compatibility with various model years. For 2014 and newer Harley-Davidson models equipped with factory Boom!™ Box radios (4.3, 6.5GT, and GTS), a radio flash will be necessary for the kit to function correctly. It is important to note that installation on CVO™ and Screaming Eagle™ models are not plug-and-play and will require modifications.
