Description

The VIS Racing AMS style hood is a high-performance body panel engineered specifically for 2014-2020 Lexus IS250 and IS350 4-door sedans. It is manufactured using the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which utilizes a single-mold vacuum to produce a component that is 10-20% lighter than traditional methods while maintaining high durability. The hood is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, featuring a UV-protective polyurethane 'Poly Shield' coating for a long-lasting, high-gloss finish. Installation requires specific attention to hardware to ensure safety and prevent damage. Hood pins are mandatory for this product, and users must not reuse the factory hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as the tension can cause the carbon fiber to crack. This product is intended for off-road use only, unless local or state laws dictate otherwise. Each hood includes a badge of authenticity to confirm its origin.
