The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Tunnel Hatch Trunk is an AMS GT style body panel designed for the Nissan 350Z Z33.

Constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, this hatch features a two-part design with a top layer bonded to the surface using high-grade epoxy resin. It is finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss.

The one-piece underside shell enhances structural integrity, and the edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish.

The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Tunnel Hatch Trunk, in the AMS GT style, is crafted for the 2003-2008 Nissan 350Z Hatchback. The construction involves a two-part design where the top layer of carbon fiber is bonded to the hatch surface with high-grade epoxy resin. This layer is then protected by an ultra-clear (Poly Shield), UV-protective polyurethane coating, resulting in a stunning high-gloss finish. A smooth, one-piece underside shell is fused to the top layer to enhance the product's structural integrity and durability. The edges are meticulously hand-finished for a flawless appearance. VIS Racing has further improved their manufacturing process by introducing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), a single-mold vacuum technique that produces parts that are 10-20% lighter while increasing durability. They are transitioning their entire carbon parts line to use this V.I.P. process. Professional installation by a custom body shop is strongly recommended to ensure optimal fitment and finish. It is important to note that stock hood or trunk struts, shocks, dampers, or springs should not be reused, as they may cause the hatch to crack. Every VIS Carbon Fiber Hood and Trunk comes with a badge of authenticity. Due to the varying intended uses, hood pins are required.
