Description

The VIS Racing AMS Style Carbon Fiber Hood provides a performance-oriented aesthetic upgrade for 2018-2020 Acura TLX 4-door vehicles. Engineered using a vacuum infusion process (V.I.P.), this hood utilizes ISO-certified Grade-A carbon fiber to achieve a construction that is both lighter and stronger than conventional alternatives. The exterior is finished with a high-gloss, UV-protected clear coat for long-term durability and visual appeal. Installation requires specific attention to hardware to prevent damage; the use of hood pins is mandatory for safety. Owners must not reuse stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as these factory components can cause the carbon fiber hood to crack. This product is intended for off-road use only unless otherwise specified by local or state regulations.
