The VIS Racing AMS Style Carbon Fiber Hood is engineered to enhance the aesthetics and performance of your 2018-2023 Ford Mustang 2-door. Crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood features a two-part construction with a top layer bonded by premium epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective Poly Shield coating for a high-gloss, durable surface. VIS Racing employs its innovative Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for this hood, a method that yields parts 10-20% lighter than previous models while simultaneously increasing durability. The underside features a one-piece, smooth shell that adds to the structural integrity, ensuring that the hood is as functional as it is stylish. The edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish, and each hood includes a VIS badge of authenticity. This AMS Style hood is specifically designed for 2-door Ford Mustangs from the 2018 to 2023 model years. It is crucial to note that this hood will **not** fit Shelby GT350 or GT500 models. Additionally, due to the nature of aftermarket hoods and potential variations in vehicle components, hood pins are required. The use of stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs is not recommended, as they may cause the hood to crack.
