The VIS Racing Double Sided Carbon Fiber Hood, featuring an AMS Style, is meticulously crafted for 2018-2023 Ford Mustang 2-door vehicles. Constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, this hood utilizes a vacuum infusion process. This advanced technique sandwiches a lightweight core between two layers of carbon fiber, creating a robust yet lightweight component with enhanced structural integrity. The top layer is finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating, ensuring a durable, high-gloss appearance. It features a one-piece, smooth underside shell fused to the top layer for improved durability and a smooth finish around the edges. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks come with a VIS badge of authenticity. Professional installation is recommended for this part. Due to the nature of the intended uses, hood pins are required, and stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs should not be reused as they may cause the hood to crack. This product is intended for off-road use only, unless otherwise permitted by local and state laws. Please note that this hood will not fit Shelby GT350 or GT500 models. Shipping for this oversized item will be via LTL Freight Service, with an average pickup time of 5-7 business days after shipping is scheduled. It is crucial to inspect the package for any damage before signing for delivery, as damage found after signing cannot be assisted.
