The Anderson Composites Type-T2 Hood, MPN AC-HD19CHCAM-T2-DS, is a carbon fiber replacement hood designed for the 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro, including LT, LT1, and SS trims. It features a design inspired by the 2019-2023 SS style, incorporating larger functional center and side vents for improved heat extraction and enhanced thermal management. Manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, this hood provides a lightweight yet strong replacement, ideal for performance enthusiasts. It is coated with a marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors and polished to a high-gloss finish for protection against environmental damage and an appealing visual. The hood mounts directly to the vehicle using original equipment (OE) hardware (not included) and typically requires no drilling, though minor adjustments may be necessary for fitment. The OE hood strut mount is for temporary use only while performing under-hood maintenance.
