This adapter allows for the conversion of factory antenna connections in select European-made vehicles, including Volkswagen and BMW models, to a standard male Motorola connection. It is designed to work with 2000 and newer Volkswagen, BMW, and other European factory antenna connectors that utilize a mini-style plug. For optimal certainty, it is recommended to consult the Auto Install Guide. Additionally, this adapter is necessary when installing an FM Modulator, in conjunction with the 12040EU20.
