Description

The Vetus ASD38H is an anti-siphon air vent designed to prevent cooling water from siphoning into the exhaust system and engine. It is recommended to fit the unit at least 40cm above the waterline to prevent this issue. This device is also suitable for toilets or holding tanks installed below the waterline.

The V-ASD38H comes complete with a skin fitting, hose clamps, and 4 meters of breather hose. It features a hose connection to the outside of the hull and allows for a constant bleed-off of cooling water while the engine is running. The unit can be easily dismantled by hand for cleaning and is designed for 38mm ID hose.
