Description

The Vetus ASD38V is an anti-siphon air vent with a valve designed to prevent cooling water from siphoning back into the exhaust and engine when a boat is stopped. This device is recommended to be fitted at least 40cm above the waterline if the cooling water injection point into the exhaust is less than 15cm above the waterline. It features a reliable anti-siphon pressure valve and is self-contained.

Constructed with a polypropylene plastic bend and a silicone rubber air valve, the ASD38V is designed for 38mm inner diameter hose. It requires periodic maintenance with salt crystals to prevent clogging and can be easily dismantled by hand for cleaning.
