The Antigravity AG-24-RS is a Group 24 lithium-ion car battery that fits directly into the OEM case size, making it a straightforward replacement for traditional lead-acid batteries. Available in 40Ah or 60Ah capacities, it delivers 1500 or 1800 cranking amps, respectively, and weighs significantly less than lead-acid equivalents, offering up to a 40 lbs weight reduction. This translates to improved vehicle performance, including better handling, braking, and acceleration. The AG-24-RS incorporates Antigravity's exclusive RE-START Technology, featuring wireless jump-starting capabilities via a keyfob remote. If the battery is discharged, the intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) allows the battery to enter a sleep mode while retaining enough power to restart the vehicle. The comprehensive BMS also provides safety features such as over-discharge and over-charge protection, short-circuit protection, cell balancing, and thermal protection, ensuring a long life cycle of 7-9 years. This battery is designed for exact drop-in fitment in many performance and passenger cars and trucks, utilizing popular BCI Group 24 sizes commonly found in older American cars, some Hondas, and GMs, as well as boats. It offers superior cranking performance, comparable to a 90Ah lead-acid battery, while being significantly lighter. Note that a lithium-specific charger is required for charging.
