The Garmin Approach Z82 laser range finder with GPS is designed for golfers to take their best shot. It offers precise distances within 10 inches of the flag, up to 450 yards, with image stabilization and vibrational feedback to confirm flag lock. The device provides full-color 2-D CourseView mapping and Green View overlays for over 41,000 courses globally. The Laser Range Arc feature displays an arc on the 2-D CourseView map at the ranged distance, showing everything in play. It also includes a hazard view to quickly scroll through hazards on the course map. When paired with a compatible smartphone, it can display wind speed and direction. The PlaysLike Distance feature adjusts for uphill or downhill shots based on elevation changes. An external indicator light (which can be toggled on/off) indicates tournament mode. Users can track their score, measure shot distances, participate in weekly leaderboards, and review stats when paired with a compatible smartphone.
