This advanced system features an extended stroke and heavy-duty internals, coupled with simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment. You gain precise control over your vehicle's handling and comfort with 36 distinct levels of damping adjustment. Camber adjustability is integrated into these pillow ball mounts, allowing for easy alignment adjustments directly on the coilover itself. To preserve suspension travel while adjusting ride height, most applications feature an adjustable lower mount. Durability and weight savings are key considerations, with many components and mounts crafted from 6061 billet aluminum. This construction ensures the kit is lightweight, exceptionally durable, and resistant to corrosion. The steel shock bodies are further protected by a zinc electroplating process, enhancing their resistance to rust and environmental elements. Each set of coilovers features valving specifically tuned to match the included springs, promising unmatched ride quality and long-term reliability. Employing a Monotube design, the Ksport system effectively separates oil and gas within the cylinder. This configuration offers superior heat dissipation and allows for finer damping adjustments compared to traditional twin-tube designs, at a more expensive design process. The Monotube construction also significantly reduces the likelihood of aeration and cavitation, leading to a smoother and more consistent ride. For many vehicles, this coilover system can maintain OEM height levels, with the option to lower the vehicle up to 3 inches from stock, a crucial consideration for rally competitors adhering to specific ride height regulations.
