ARB Safari Air Intake Snorkels relocate the engine air intake entry to a higher position than the factory, coupling the outside snorkel body to the underhood airbox with a proprietary rubber coupler for a water-tight seal. These systems are designed to increase the capability of a Toyota Tacoma, especially when traversing creeks, rivers, and waterways. The relocated air entryway helps ensure the engine is always provided a clean path of air, virtually eliminating the chances of poor engine performance or hydro-lock.
