Attention to internal cross-sectional profile, area, air velocity, and flow path ensures optimal air delivery. A custom alloy casting is integrated within the engine bay, providing a rugged mounting point for the snorkel's exit and a positive connection to the standard air cleaner. This casting also directs a clean shot of air directly into the air cleaner assembly, contributing to maximum engine performance and improved fuel economy. The snorkel body is manufactured from durable, UV-stable, cross-linked polyethylene, offering significant material wall thickness for exceptional physical strength to withstand the harshest off-road conditions. The complete system includes all required nuts, bolts, and brackets, featuring zero-corrosion stainless steel studs, self-locking nyloc nuts, and anodized body washers. An accurately marked template is also provided to facilitate precise installation onto the vehicle's panel work. Fitment is specific to Ford F-Series trucks equipped with the 7.3L V8 Diesel engine.
