MIA's Description

The Oregon 600138 is a 12-inch straight arborist hand saw designed for small to medium tree pruning. It offers minimal resistance for comfortable and efficient use, with a straight profile suitable for cuts on branches close to the body.

Constructed from premium Japanese high-carbon steel with chrome plating for rust prevention, the blade features impulse-hardened teeth for extended sharpness. The saw includes a scabbard with a push-button release mechanism and a leg strap/belt loop attachment. It has 6.5 teeth per inch and a taper-ground blade. The blade is replaceable, secured by a tang that runs the full length of the handle.
