The Apex ARC-8 is a 17x8.5 inch, flow-formed alloy wheel designed to offer a blend of performance, durability, and aesthetics for BMW vehicles. This wheel features an 8-spoke concave design finished in hyper black, contributing to its aggressive appearance and reduced weight. Flow-forming technology creates a wheel that is stronger than traditional cast wheels while maintaining a lightweight profile, with this specific wheel weighing in at 16.55 lbs, approximately 10 lbs lighter than comparable factory wheels. The ARC-8 is engineered with generous clearance for large brake systems. It features a standard BMW 5x120 bolt pattern and a 72.6mm center bore, designed for a direct fit on most 1-series (E82), 3-series (E36, E46, E90, E92, F30), Z3, and Z4-series BMWs. Original BMW center caps, TPMS sensors, and lug bolts can typically be carried over, though wheel bolts may differ if spacers are used. Careful consideration of wheel width, offset, and tire sizing is crucial when installing larger wheels, as this may lead to rubbing on suspension components or bodywork. Adjustments such as wheel spacers, new alignment settings, or fender modifications might be necessary depending on the specific vehicle and tire combination.
