The APEX ARC-8 is a 17x9 inch flow-formed alloy wheel, engineered for enhanced performance and aesthetic appeal. Flow-forming, a semi-forging process, results in a wheel that is significantly stronger than traditional cast wheels while remaining remarkably lightweight. Each wheel weighs only 17.2 lbs, approximately 10 lbs less than a comparable factory BMW wheel, which directly contributes to reduced unsprung weight and an overall improvement in vehicle dynamics and handling. The design emphasizes generous clearance for large brake calipers, combining functionality with a classic motorsport-inspired look that complements BMW styling. With a 5/120 bolt pattern and a 72.6mm center bore, these wheels are a direct fit for many BMW models including the 1-series (E82), 3-series (E36, E46, E90, E92, F30), Z3, and Z4-series. The original BMW center caps, TPMS sensors, and lug bolts can typically be carried over, though wheel bolts may vary if spacers are used.
