Armor*Coat Headers

The Pacesetter 72C1334 is a set of ceramic coated headers engineered for performance and durability, specifically designed for 1972-1986 Jeep CJ5, CJ6, and CJ7 models with V8 engines, including AMC 290-401. Constructed using mandrel-bent, 16-gauge mild steel tubing, these headers feature port-matched, CNC-machined, 3/8-inch thick head flanges for optimal flow and a precise seal. The Armor*Coat finish provides a silver ceramic coating that utilizes two layers of metallic-ceramic protection cured at 2000°F. This advanced coating prevents discoloration common with other finishes and contributes to lower under-hood temperatures. They include necessary hardware, gaskets, and illustrated instructions. Fabrication may be required to connect to the existing exhaust system. Professional installation is recommended. It is important to note that this part is discontinued and no longer available.
