The Tomei ARMS MX8280 is a journal bearing turbocharger specifically engineered for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (4B11/CZ4A). This turbocharger boasts a CNC billet compressor wheel crafted from aerospace-grade A2618 aluminum. This advanced construction features thinner blades that enhance airflow and reduce spool time, targeting an output of approximately 450 horsepower. The turbine wheel is made from K418 cast material with a 67.0mm ex-diameter and 11 blades. The unit also includes a multi-rate billet actuator with a large capacity and reinforced forged billet construction. It comes with six springs, allowing for fine-tuned boost adjustments. The swivel-type nipple design offers greater flexibility when routing hoses, and users can combine up to three springs to achieve their desired setup. Key specifications include a compressor wheel with a 61.4mm inner diameter, 82mm outer diameter, and a 56T trim, while the turbine housing has a 0.89 A/R. The compressor housing features a 62.4mm inner diameter and a 40.2mm outer diameter.
