The Outfront head stud kit is a custom ARP 2000 hardware set designed for Subaru EZ30R and EZ36 6-cylinder engines. These studs feature a unique 10.50mm block-side thread and a 7/16NF head-side thread, offering increased clamping force for high-performance and turbo applications.

The Outfront head stud kit is a custom ARP 2000 hardware solution engineered specifically for Subaru EZ30R and EZ36 6-cylinder engines, providing an essential upgrade for turbo-charged builds. Each stud features a specialized design with a 10.50mm block-side thread and a 7/16NF head-side thread, offering superior strength over stock head bolts. The kit utilizes a reduced shank design and is finished with an Allen cap for easier installation without requiring any machining to the engine block or heads. This complete kit includes 16 studs, 16 12-point nuts, and 16 heat-treated .158-inch thick washers. For proper installation, a specific torque sequence is recommended: 90 ft/lbs on the inner four studs and 80 ft/lbs on the outer four studs, using ARP lubricant. Fitment is specific to the EZ30R (Z30 casting) and EZ36 engines. This product is not compatible with the EZ30D motor (J30 casting), which utilizes a 10mm block-side thread.
