Description

The ARP 114-4001 is a Pro Series cylinder head stud kit designed for AMC 290, 343, and 390 CID inline engines from 1969 and earlier. These studs are manufactured from premium grade 8740 chrome moly alloy, heat-treated to 200,000 psi, and centerless ground for exceptional straightness and concentricity.

The studs feature thread rolling after heat-treatment, which significantly enhances their fatigue strength. The kit includes hex nuts and hardened parallel washers for even load distribution and accurate torque readings.
